  14. Wolfram Research Announces Mathematica for NEXTSTEP for
  15. Intel Processors

  17. Champaign, Illinois - August 4, 1993 - Wolfram Research, Inc.
  18. today announced that Mathematica 2.2, the world's leading software
  19. for numeric, symbolic and graphical computation, will soon be
  20. available under NEXTSTEP for Intel processors, NeXT's
  21. object-oriented software for Intel-486 and Pentium-based computers.

  23. "Mathematica running on NEXTSTEP has achieved tremendous success
  24. in the academic and financial markets, and we are committed to
  25. working with NeXT to expand these markets further," explained Prem

  27. to us that NEXTSTEP for Intel processors is an outstanding
  28. operating system that will be well-accepted in the academic,

  32. documents that combine live computations, plots, animated graphics,
  33. and text to create technical reports, class courseware, even
  34. publication-quality books.  Now, both NeXT users and the entire PC

  49. and will be available early this fall.  Academic pricing starts at
  50. $995.  Volume discounts and academic site licenses are available.
